Meet Dr. Herman

      Dr. Marc W Herman

Dr. Herman received his degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1979. He attended a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital. He serves on the faculty at North Shore, where he is also Chief of The Division of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ), Chief of the Division of Practice Administration and Chief of the Division of General Dentistry.

Serving patients in the community for over 27 years, Dr. Herman’s advanced dental studies have trained him to deal with advanced dental problems as well as improper jaw alignment, bite, teeth wear and TMJ issues. He and his staff are committed to your long term dental health.

Dr. Herman is married and has three children.

Dr. Herman is a member of the following dental societies:

Dr. Herman is also involved in his Community, serving in many capacities, including:

  • President, Syosset Central School District Board of Education
  • Treasurer, Board Member, Gates Ridge Civic Association
  • Syosset Soccer Club, Commissioner, Coach for over 20 years
